It’s Excalibur Sauvignon Blanc Month and we’re celebrating!! Excalibur is our ‘shining sword rising from the water.’ It’s simply put as exquisite, varietal and moreish. It’s cool, crisp, with notes of citrus, gooseberry and lychee. This wine zips and zags across the palate, light of foot yet intense in all the right ways.

Strawberry Sauvignon Blanc Cocktail! This cocktail combines wine, vodka, with fresh strawberries and a splash of soda water for a thirst quenching cocktail. Ready for summer anyone? It’s the perfect pairing with a chair in the sunshine and a good magazine on a warm afternoon.

Ingredients: (makes 5)

-1 bottle of our Excalibur Sauvignon Blanc (500 ml to be used)– 150ml Vodka– 1 punnet of strawberries (stems removes)– 5 Tbsp of agave nectar– 1/2 juice of a lemon– 200ml Soda water

INSTRUCTIONS

1. In the bottom of a mixing glass, muddle the strawberries in the lemon and agave nectar.
2. Add Sauvignon Blanc and vodka and shake well with ice.
3. Strain over ice into a wine glass and top with soda water.

And it’s as easy as that!
